Cuernavaca día 7

Today was our last day in Cuernavaca. Tomorrow at 7:00 AM we are heading back home. We had sunny weather and high temperatures, ideal to enjoy Temixco Waterpark. In the morning we made Mexican crafts and at noon left for Temixco Waterpark. We were amazed at the size of the pools and the height of the water toboggans.

Cuernavaca día 4

Hola familias! Today we had a Spanish class after which we went to the mercado grocery shopping. At the mercado we bought a piñata and after our cooking class we had a smashing piñata festival!  In the evening we gathered at the Barrios House for a Mexican party hosted by the Barrios family and our parents Laurie and Eric. We sang with charming Mariachis and danced their Mexican songs. We had an unforgettable day and a better evening. Thank you once again to our wonderful parents who made it happen and the Barrios family for sharing the warmth of their home. Our appreciation as well to Jean, Rodolfo and their son at Encuentros who set up the piñata for us and shared lots of laughs. Gracias!
